Initial Problem Statement: Bird populations in India is dwindling at alarming rate.
I initiated the problem statement on 10April, Sunday which was the day I went for a birding session with my friends at ARAI hills, Kothrud. I went there after about 30-35 weeks span which was way too much of a gap (engaged with my foundation work backlog, I guess) As we were up on our favourite spot on the hill, I was amazed with the kind of change that happened on that spot over the period of time. The grass was burnt up, barren, the heat was intense and hardly any birds were spotted other than the usual raptors. The water level in the quarry of the hill was too less as compared to the last year's summers. It was all shocking. On returning back, I also came around with an injured bird on the way.
Since that day, I have been working on this and what I am trying to do is not something highfalutin but to stick to the core problem and encouraging wildest ideas.
Thank you for reading.
The next post would be my research on the birdlife conservation which would get posted by 9:45 PM on 18 April.
